You deserve to feel supported, informed, and respected during your birth. I can help.

Click below to schedule a free virtual interview to see if I’m the right doula for you. During the 30-minute interview over Zoom, we’ll get to know each other and I’ll answer any questions you have about me and the doula package I offer.

Doula Services:

  • A free 30-minute interview over Zoom.
  • A prenatal in-person visit. During this 2-hour visit, we’ll discuss how I can best help you during your birth journey. We’ll explore your preferences and priorities, your wishes and fears, how you’d like to cope during labor, and more.
  • Either a 2nd prenatal visit over Zoom, or attendance in my in-person Birthing from Within class ($180 value).
  • Email and phone support from the time we begin working together until our postpartum visit. I know questions and fears come up throughout pregnancy. I’m here for you!
  • On call 24/7 two weeks before your due date until the baby is born.
  • Continuous presence and support through your labor. I will stay with you until 1 hour after your baby is born and assist with breastfeeding (if you would like).
  • One postpartum visit in your home after the baby is born, within 3 weeks of the birth. We’ll talk about the birth and how things are going for you. I’ll send tips and resources your way based on your questions.
  • One postpartum check-in over Zoom, approximately 6 weeks after the birth. Just when society expects us to “get back to normal,” lots of parents are left feeling isolated and still in need of support. I’ll check in to give you more tips, info, and connection.
  • Cost: For a limited time, I am offering a sliding scale from $300-$500 for Birth Doula Services. I am completing my certification with Birthing from Within, so clients can get the rate of $300-$500 if they fill out a quick form after their birth (to be included in my certification packet).

Am I the right doula for you? I might be if…

  • You want to go into this experience informed about birth and your options. I’m a certified Childbirth Educator – I can help! Prenatally and postpartum, I’ll make sure you have the resources that will be helpful to you, based on your preferences. During labor, I’ll help you get the information you need to make your own decisions. Most importantly, I will never judge your choices. This is YOUR body, YOUR baby, and YOUR birth experience.
  • You know birth is important; even transformative. Society often focuses on the baby shower, the logistics, and the to-do lists. One of my favorite things about doula training with Birthing from Within is that my training addressed the deeper aspects of birth and birth preparation. Birth is a huge rite of passage. You already have all the strength and resilience you need to navigate it. I will help you tap into those inner resources.
  • You’re looking for someone who’s been there. As a mother of 4, I am passionate about helping to make birth a positive experience. I can remember, quite clearly, the feeling of my first baby finally sliding out after hours and hours of labor, of pacing back and forth between contractions with my second baby, of pushing out my large third baby, of the quick entrance into the world of my fourth baby, and of those incomparable early moments with each of my newborns. Each birth is a unique journey. All parents deserve respect and support along the way.
  • You want a doula who values connection and community. I’ve learned from experience the value of genuine connection and community. Community-building became a big part of my life after moving our family to the Chicago area without knowing a soul (while pregnant with my third child). I cherish the authentic connections I’ve made and the people I’ve brought together in various ways – including forming a parent/child playgroup and helping facilitate family nature groups. I know beyond doubt that we humans NEED each other in this life. As a doula, I would be honored to be a part of your village.
